Selangor St. Andrew's Society is one of the oldest Loyal Societies in Malaysia, established in 1887. Membership comprises Scots, descendents of Scots and people who are interested in Scotland and Scottish culture.

The Society's aims include fostering of matters of Scottish interest, the celebration of St. Andrew's Day and the organisation of social events for our members. In addition to our formal annual events - The Burns Supper and our St. Andrew's Celebration, we organise ceilidhs, golf days, highland weekends, pub nights and whisky tastings.

Our next major event is a "The Great British Ball" at the Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 25th October 2008. This event is jointly presented by the St. Andrew's, St. David's and St. George's Societies together with ABWM and BMCC.
