Selangor St. Andrew's Society is one of the oldest Loyal Societies in Malaysia, established in 1887. Membership comprises Scots, descendents of Scots and people who are interested in Scotland and Scottish culture.

The Society's aims include fostering of matters of Scottish interest, the celebration of St. Andrew's Day and the organisation of social events for our members. In addition to our formal annual events - The Burns Supper and our St. Andrew's Celebration, we organise ceilidhs, golf days, highland weekends, pub nights and whisky tastings.

The Society has, in recent years, staged a series of concerts with Scottish musicians such as the Battlefield Band, Capercaillie and the spectacular Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

Our next major event is a repeat Concert with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 22nd May 2010.
